Pierre Hermé Paris Is Opening Its First UAE Flagship in Abu Dhabi This September

One of the world’s most celebrated pastry names is heading to Marina Mall with its famous macarons, desserts, and French-inspired dining.

With much anticipation, Abu Dhabi is set to get its own taste of the Parisian Maison, with Pierre Hermé Paris preparing to open its first UAE flagship this September.

Best known for transforming classic French pâtisserie through imaginative flavours and meticulous craftsmanship, the Maison has become a global name for luxurious sweet creations.

Pierre Herme

From Tokyo to Paris

The Pierre Hermé story begins in Japan in 1998, where the Maison was established before expanding internationally. Its journey then led to  Paris, with a boutique on the Champs-Élysées helping cement its reputation as a destination for fine French confectionery.

Exceptional ingredients, technical precision, and plenty of creativity are all part of the philosophy. Rather than treating pastry as something purely traditional, Pierre Hermé has built a reputation around experimenting with textures and combinations.

This approach has earned the pastry chef some serious recognition, including being named World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2016.

The Desserts to Know

What can Abu Dhabi expect? Naturally, the macarons will be a major attraction, alongside a collection of Pierre Hermé’s signature creations.

Look out for the Ispahan, known for its combination of rose, raspberry, and lychee, as well as infiniment vanille and 2000 feuilles. An assortment of pastries, viennoiseries, chocolates, and beautifully packaged treats will also make the new flagship a tempting destination for gift shopping. How convenient, with Christmas just round the corner….

VANILLE TARTEIN 2

More Than a Pâtisserie

The Marina Mall venue will go beyond cakes and chocolates, offering an all-day dining experience covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Savoury dishes will sit alongside the Maison’s famous desserts, with recommended items including a Pierre Hermé chicken croque monsieur and the beef tenderloin.

This exciting new opening follows the success of Majlis by Pierre Hermé at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, bringing the Maison’s distinctive take on French indulgence to an even wider audience.

The exact opening date is yet to be announced, but September is shaping up to be a very sweet month in Abu Dhabi.
