There are plenty of ways to get moving in Abu Dhabi, but few runs carry quite the same sense of purpose as the annual ADCB Zayed Sports City Pink Run.
Now a permanent fixture in the capital’s October calendar, the event will return to Zayed Sports City Stadium on Saturday 24 October this year, marking its 15th edition and once again bringing the community together through sport and fundraising.

A Run with a Bigger Purpose
The Pink Run began in 2012 as a fitness event for breast cancer awareness, encouraging people across Abu Dhabi to get active while supporting a significant cause.
Since then, the event has developed into an annual gathering where seasoned runners, first-timers, families, and supporters can all be part of the special occasion.
Funds raised through the event go towards breast cancer initiatives supported by the Al Jalila Foundation, allowing everyone to contribute to a cause that extends well beyond race morning.
You Don’t Have to Be a Runner
One of the best things about the Pink Run is that you do not need to be chasing a personal best to participate. There are 10km, 5km, and 3km options, making it accessible whether you are an experienced distance runner, getting back into exercise, or fancy a morning walk with friends and family.
The day starts early, with registration and check-in from 5.30 AM. The 10km gets underway at 6.30 AM, followed by the 5km at 6.45 AM, then the 3km at 7.10 AM.
How to Take Part
Registration for the 2026 Pink Run is through the My Race Result platform. Participants can choose their preferred distance and join an event where every kilometre has a purpose.
All to do now is pick out something pink and get ready for an October morning at Zayed Sports City. It doesn’t matter if you want to jog or walk around the course; the ADCB ZSC Pink Run is a chance to be part of something that makes a difference.
