To mark International Museum Day on Monday, May 18th, several museums and cultural attractions across the UAE will offer complimentary entry to visitors this weekend.
Running from Saturday, May 16th to Monday, May 18th, the initiative offers residents and tourists the opportunity to experience some of the country’s leading museums, exhibitions, and heritage destinations at no entry fee.

Abu Dhabi Museums are Joining the Celebrations
In the capital, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will be open and ready to explore.
Visitors to these museums will be able to explore exhibitions, interactive displays, and family-friendly experiences taking place throughout the weekend.
Historic destinations such as Qasr Al Hosn and museums in Al Ain and Delma are also expected to welcome guests as part of the celebrations, offering an opportunity to learn more about Emirati heritage and traditions.
Dubai and Sharjah Open Their Cultural Doors
Dubai will also be joining the initiative, with selected museums and attractions opening their doors free of charge across the weekend.
In Sharjah, a number of museums dedicated to archaeology, maritime history, science, and heritage are set to participate on International Museum Day itself.
