Abu Dhabi’s luxury marine scene has reached a major new milestone, with Yas Marina officially awarded the internationally recognised TYHA Superyacht Ready Accreditation.
This significant achievement makes it the first marina in Abu Dhabi and, remarkably, the second in the UAE to receive the prestigious certification.
Abu Dhabi’s Profile Raised on the Global Yachting Map
Awarded by The Yacht Harbour Association, the accreditation recognises marinas that meet high international standards across superyacht infrastructure, service delivery, crew experience, and premium facilities that the marinas offer.
The certification is widely regarded as a benchmark within the global superyacht industry, highlighting destinations equipped to cater to luxury vessels and their crews.
Located on Yas Island, the marina has become known for combining waterfront dining, leisure, hospitality, and entertainment experiences, all within one of Abu Dhabi’s most vibrant lifestyle hubs.
More Than Just a Marina
Commenting on the achievement, Jassim Albastaki, General Manager of Yas Asset Management, said the accreditation reflects the marina team’s commitment to delivering internationally recognised standards and exceptional guest experiences while strengthening Yas Island’s presence within the global superyacht industry.
