Tiffany & Co. Helps Abu Dhabi’s Mangrove Forests Flourish With 1,837 New Trees

Abu Dhabi’s thriving mangrove forests have grown a little larger thanks to Tiffany & Co., with the luxury brand planting 1,837 additional mangrove trees at Jubail Mangrove Park.

Timed to coincide with the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, the initiative highlights the growing role businesses can play in supporting the emirate’s environmental ambitions while helping preserve one of its most treasured natural landscapes.

A Meaningful Investment in Nature

The latest planting forms part of Tiffany & Co.’s ongoing partnership with Jubail Mangrove Park, extending a conservation programme that first began last year.

Its number of trees is no coincidence either, as 1,837 marks the year the company was founded, turning an important chapter in its own history into a lasting contribution to Abu Dhabi’s future.

While the gesture celebrates the brand’s heritage, its impact is far beyond symbolism, with new mangroves helping to strengthen an ecosystem that protects coastlines, stores carbon, supports marine life, and creates habitats for a wide variety of wildlife.

As Abu Dhabi continues to prioritise sustainability, initiatives like this play an important role in safeguarding the city’s natural environment.

Supporting Abu Dhabi’s Greener Future

Jubail Mangrove Park has become one of Abu Dhabi’s leading destinations for eco-tourism and environmental education, giving residents and tourists the chance to experience the importance of mangrove forests first-hand.

By adding to the park’s growing forest, Tiffany & Co. is helping reinforce the message that conservation is a shared responsibility, and for Abu Dhabi, every new mangrove represents another step towards protecting biodiversity resilience and ensuring these remarkable ecosystems continue to thrive for generations to come.
