SeaWorld Abu Dhabi has launched the third edition of the Electric Ocean Festival. This year, it will run every day during the summer until Sunday, 30 August. The schedule features live entertainment, interactive experiences, and family-friendly activities inspired by the marine world.
The Electric Ocean Festival is offering new attractions this year, including neon-lit performances and creative activities for kids. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s popular characters will also make special appearances.
A highlight of the festival is the One Ocean realm. This ocean-themed show is neon-inspired and will feature Volt and Current as festival hosts.
The programme will begin each day with an interactive ceremony, followed by a series of live performances. They include dancing, juggling, and roaming entertainers putting on a show.
Visitors can also participate in a Power Surge interactive experience. Here, Guests can join Current and another character, DJ Shivers, to help restore the One Ocean realm through various interactive activities. These activities offer special visual and audio effects for an all-around immersive experience.
Aside from the lineup of activities, there are also silent discos and pop-up performances. The Electric Ocean Festival aims to offer kids and families experiences that generate awareness of marine conservation. SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi also extended its opening hours throughout the festival. Visitors can spend time at the venue from 10 am to 8 pm until 30 August.
