All you need to know about the UAE’s remote work visa for digital nomads

The post-pandemic world has seen a significant increase in digital nomads, with several employers and employees preferring to skip the commute hassle and work remotely instead. Adapting to the trends, the UAE government announced a special Remote Work Visa in 2021.

Also known as the Digital Nomad Visa, the same is available to digital nomads with the freedom and flexibility to work remotely in Abu Dhabi as well as across the UAE.

The renewable visa allows professionals to enjoy residency in the emirate without needing a national sponsor for one year.

The same can be renewed, and following approval from the UAE authorities you could also bring your family along and relocate to the country.
