Al Ain is putting young talent in the spotlight as Al Ain Youth Week returns for its second edition from Wednesday, 15 July, until Tuesday, 21 July 2026.
Organised by the Al Ain Youth Council, the week coincides with World Youth Skills Day and will take place under the theme “Al Ain Youth… Energy Shaping Tomorrow.”
Designed for young people aged 15 to 35, the programme brings together government bodies, private companies and academic institutions for a series of activities focused on skills, ideas and opportunities for the future.
What to Expect from Al Ain Youth Week 2026
This year’s programme is built around three main themes: Family and Emirati Values, Future Skills and Artificial Intelligence, and Leadership in Tourism and the Economy.
Participants can expect workshops, discussions and youth-led initiatives exploring everything from emerging technology and entrepreneurship to tourism, leadership and the creative economy.
The week will also provide young adults with a platform to showcase their achievements, share community projects, and connect with organisations that can support their personal and professional development.
Activities delivered alongside the Federal Youth Authority may include youth circles, debates, youth hubs and the launch of new youth councils. Inspiring success stories will also be highlighted throughout the programme, celebrating young people already making an impact across Al Ain and the wider UAE.
More than simply a calendar of events, Al Ain Youth Week is designed to help participants build practical skills, explore new career paths and take a more active role in shaping their communities.
By combining innovation and future-focused learning with Emirati identity and values, the initiative hopes to inspire a generation ready to contribute to a more creative, sustainable and forward-thinking UAE.
