An Abu Dhabi trip could be about to become a little more appealing for Indian travellers. A new initiative from Abu Dhabi’s tourism authority is offering eligible Indian passport holders a complimentary UAE entry visa when they book a qualifying holiday to the emirate.

Who Can Get the Free UAE Visa?
The new scheme is aimed at Indian passport holders travelling from India, with the visa benefit tied to holiday bookings made through participating travel partners or online travel agencies.
To qualify, travellers need to book a stay of at least three consecutive nights at an Abu Dhabi hotel with a return flight from India, meaning you can’t simply submit an application yourself and ask for the fee to be waived.
The free visa is part of the holiday package arranged through the participating partners.
How Does the Free Visa Work?
For eligible bookings, the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) covers the cost of the UAE entry visa, with no additional charge attached to their qualifying package.
Travel partners can process the visas through arrangements supported by DCT Abu Dhabi, with the department either covering the cost directly or reimbursing participating partners AED 285 per visa.
When Does the Offer End?
For Indian travellers dreaming of a UAE getaway, this could be a particularly good time to put Abu Dhabi on the itinerary. With the visa cost looked after for those with eligible bookings, a minimum three-night hotel stay and a return flight from India could be all it takes to turn those holiday plans into reality.
With the offer running until 31 October 2026, there’s plenty of time to start planning a sunshine-filled escape to the capital.
