If your idea of a perfect weekday lunch includes refined flavours and a buzzing atmosphere, the Ebisu lunch menu at Zuma Abu Dhabi ticks all the right boxes. Located next to The Galleria Mall on Al Maryah Island, this iconic Japanese restaurant continues to draw a loyal lunchtime crowd.

A Busy Dining Room with Impeccable Service
Zuma’s dining room is rarely quiet during lunch hours, and that energy is part of its appeal. The service is smooth, professional and impressively attentive throughout.

Staff are quick to guide guests through the menu and ensure glasses are topped up without being intrusive, which is no easy feat when every table is full.
What gives it an extra kick is being welcomed by the kitchen staff, who announce “Irasshaimase” when guests enter, a phrase meaning “welcome” in Japanese.

A Carefully Curated Ebisu Menu
What stands out straight away from the menu is the choice. With most set menus offering limited items, Zuma doesn’t follow this trend.
The meal begins with miso soup, a comforting yet flavourful start that works as a gentle palate kick-off. Standout starters were the California Maki with fresh crab and the seared salmon with lime shiso soy, delivering freshness, balance and a hit of citrus.
There are also the chicken and cod gyoza dishes, which are crisp on the outside and generously filled on the inside, an impressive and satisfying transition before the mains arrive.
Main courses that must be considered are the grilled Australian wagyu beef sirloin and jumbo tiger prawn.

Two equally indulgent dishes in their own way, they showcase Zuma’s expertise with premium ingredients and precise cooking. Sides are also on the menu, with the grilled broccoli and spicy miso being a great accompaniment.
If you have a sweet tooth, dessert brings the lunch to a close with amazing sweet options. The baked cheesecake with guava sorbet is a must-try. It’s light yet indulgent, and it rounds everything off beautifully.
Drinks Worth Lingering Over
The experience is elevated further by a well-considered wine and sake menu, offering plenty of choice whether you’re in the mood for a single glass or something more celebratory.
