Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) is returning in 2026. Bringing together global leaders, innovators, and sustainability experts to the UAE’s capital for five days of groundbreaking discussions and exhibitions.
Running from January 11-15 2026, this significant and signature event will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and other venues across the city, serving as a platform to shape the future of sustainable development.
As one of the most anticipated events on the international sustainability calendar, ADSW 2026 is designed to connect ambition with action across energy, climate finance, clean technology, and social progress (invite-only).
When and Where Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 Will Take Place
ADSW kicks off with high-level gatherings, including the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Assembly on January 11th (invite-only). This summit brings together global energy ministers and key stakeholders to discuss the future of renewable energy.
This sets the stage for the official Opening Ceremony on January 13 at ADNEC, where global leaders will signal commitments and priorities for the year ahead.
There will also be the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), which commences on January 13th. This major exhibition and conference is open to registered attendees and showcases the latest in clean energy, smart mobility, water innovation, circular economy approaches, climate finance, and other key areas. WFES will provide tech demos to investment panels that explore how to decarbonise industries and reach net zero.
Alongside these public sessions, a series of invite-only forums will tackle specialised themes and focus on key social areas, such as sustainable finance, women’s leadership in sustainability, and youth engagement.
Another key moment is the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony, where innovators and organisations from around the world are recognised for solutions that address global challenges in health, food, energy, water, and climate action.
