Heading to Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi anytime soon? There’s an update to the system that introduced new parking fees – take a look!
The change comes as Yas Mall implements a fully ticketless parking system, which automatically detects vehicle license plates and records the duration of each stay.

What will the Yas Mall parking fees be now?
As part of the updated system, the first four hours continue to remain free, but shoppers will need to pay AED 20 starting from the fifth hour, and AED 10 for every additional hour after.
For most visitors, the process will be seamless: any applicable fees are automatically charged to a linked Salik account. So if you haven’t already, remember to top up your account before heading to the mall for a movie or retail therapy!
Those without a Salik account can pay via Parkonic, a mobile app accessible through QR codes displayed throughout the parking areas.
Thanks to the ticketless parking, there’s definitely been reduced congestion and improved turnover, particularly during peak shopping times and weekends.
For families, leisure visitors, and tourists, this means that while short trips and casual shopping remain free, longer stays, such as full-day mall outings, may incur additional costs. Especially if you’re visiting Ferrari World Abu Dhabi or parking at the mall for any concerts or events on Yas Island.
Watch this space for more updates – and remember to plan ahead to avoid any surprises! It remains to be seen how long before similar systems roll out in malls across the capital.
