Motorists, heads up! The partial road closures in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain might mean waking up early or considering alternate routes.
Abu Dhabi Mobility has announced partial road and intersection closures that are already in effect.
Where are the road closures in Abu Dhabi?
In Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street will see a partial closure until Monday, August 18.
In Al Ain, the intersection at Zayed the First Street and Nahyan the First Street will be closed until Friday, August 22. So that’s almost 10 days, which means it’s definitely worth planning alternate routes and prepping for longer commute times.
As always, when it comes to construction or road closures in Abu Dhabi, the authorities have warned drivers to take note of the updated traffic signs, follow directions and drive with extra care.
With all the new fines coming into effect in the capital this month, it’s worth taking note of these closures ahead of time to avoid them and drive more safely. And more importantly, to skip traffic clogs, of course.
