Turning four and fabulous this year, Abu Dhabi Summer Sports is officially on at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
It’s biggest edition ever, the indoor sports haven will be open to the public until August 21. Organised by ADNEC Group and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, this is the largest indoor summer sports event of its kind in the region.
Spanning a whopping 37,500 square metres of air-conditioned space, it’s basically just what you need to keep the fun minus the sun!
What’s new at Abu Dhabi Summer Sports this year?
The indoor track this year has doubled in size, with four running lanes stretching across 1.2 kilometres.
You can also play anywhere across the 52 courts and activity zones, covering everything from football, basketball and padel to badminton, table tennis, volleyball, tennis and more.
Another addition this year is the Club Zone, featuring combat and strength-based sports like Muay Thai, boxing, weightlifting, archery and judo. There’s also a dedicated CrossFit and gym area for those looking to get some weights in.
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports has upped the ante with something for all age groups! Think dedicated kids’ zones, play areas and creative summer camps designed for school holidays.
There’s a full programme of over 50 community events, wellness activities including yoga and meditation and a packed agenda of classes, competitions and sports clinics throughout the eight-week run.
And of course, don’t forget to hit up the wellness zone to cool down later. Or check out the F&B options to stay fuelled throughout your action-packed day indoors.
Making things easier, organisers have launched a brand-new mobile app and web platform, so you can browse activities, book courts and plan your day with just a few taps.
