The UAE capital has always been about some pretty spectacular drone shows, so it should come as no surprise that the world’s largest drone show is coming to Abu Dhabi!
Following a partnership signed between Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture & Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), Colorado-based Nova Sky Stories, and Analog, an Emirati company specialising in physical intelligence and mixed reality, the skies will soon come alive with a stunning 10,000-strong drone light show!
This includes 10,000 of the world’s most advanced light-show drones and will focus on transforming cultural and technological storytelling by integrating cutting-edge drone technology into immersive storytelling.
You can catch this synchronised spectacle at Abu Dhabi’s major landmarks, owing to a multi-year agreement that will blend culture and tech like never before.
While specific dates and locations will be revealed closer to the events, major cultural hubs like the Sheikh Zayed Festival, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are expected to host these displays.
Being the world’s largest drone show, the feat aims to boost tourism in Abu Dhabi, of course, while also bolstering the capital’s standing as a growing culture and entertainment hub.
