The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that some scattered areas of the country are expected to experience rainfall today and tomorrow.
Some eastern and southern regions, extending into some internal areas, will observe convective clouds, rainfall, with lightning and thunder at times.
Wind speeds could reach up to 40 km/h, particularly over some eastern and southern areas. Forecasters expect cumulus clouds, rainfall and potentially severe weather, urging the public to remain vigilant, especially during outdoor activities.

And if the severe heat and humidity alerts on your phones haven’t been indication enough, it’s getting record levels of hot in Abu Dhabi. According to the latest UAE weather forecast, the capital is going to be sunny and reach highs of at least 42°C. With mild relief of the temperatures dropping only to 34°C tonight.
While opinions on cloud seeding have certainly been mixed, we can only wait and watch how the rains will play out.
