A first for the Middle East as well, Surf Abu Dhabi will be hosting the world’s top surfers from February 14–16, 2025.
54 of the world’s top male and female surfers are all set to compete at the largest man-made wave at the revolutionary Surf Abu Dhabi facility.
Nestled on Hudayriyat Island, Surf Abu Dhabi combines cutting-edge wave technology with Abu Dhabi’s renowned hospitality. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the city’s skyline, the Abu Dhabi Pro offers more than just surfing – it’s a celebration of elite competition, innovation, and the vibrant surf culture that’s taking the region by storm.
With three action packed days on the agenda kicking off with some world-class performances, the finals and award ceremony will conclude with live entertainment and DJs to spin the mood.
Among the participants are 2024 WSL Champion Caity Simmers, Arab surf star Ramzi Boukhiam, and Olympic medalists Jack Robinson, Caroline Marks, and Tatiana Weston-Webb, competing on waves designed to perfection by the Kelly Slater Wave Company.
There’s plenty of action going on beyond the waves too!
