And the dates are finally here! Eid Al Adha 2025 in the UAE has officially been confirmed to bring a four-day long weekend for the public sector.
Eid Al Adha falls on the Dhul Hijjah 10 (or Arafat Day) after Saudi Arabia sighted the Dhul Hijah moon, making Thursday, 5 June the first day of Dhul Hijjah.
This means Eid Al Adha will fall on Friday, 6 June, until Sunday, 8 June.
So far, federal government employees in the UAE will get four days off to mark the occasion.
Work will resume on Monday, June 9.
While we’re still awaiting official confirmation for private sector employees, if it’s anything like previous years the dates will remain the same for everyone working in the UAE.
