Getting on top of your fitness game in 2025? Then you don’t want to miss out on the upcoming 2025 Abu Dhabi Spartan World Championship Weekend!
For fitness lovers, the Spartan Race has always been one of the most intense and challenging yet rewarding races.
Back again to the capital, the 2025 Spartan World Championship is being hosted by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
As always, the festivities will include a myriad of local traditions and flavour, including local fare, cultural demonstrations, and some good old-fashioned dune buggies.
What is part of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Spartan World Championship Weekend lineup?
The Spartan World Championship weekend will include a variety of World Championship races. A select group of top elites will battle for the 3K Elite World Championship title, while Elite and Age Group racers looking for a more grueling challenge will take on the qualification-based 21K Beast Championships.
Of course, there are also the Sprint and Super races, which include a women’s and co-ed night Sprint, and even a 3k Elite Team Relay, where co-ed teams of three come out to represent their country and fight for the top podium spot.
As always, the Desert Challenge is a great way to push your limits on a unique, dune-filled course set in the heart—and heat—of the desert.
Closer to the time of writing, there’s the Dawn ’til Dusk obstacle course racing event taking place on Saturday April 19, at the arena based at the luxury Bab Al Shams desert Resort in Dubai.
There will be two race formats that will be familiar to previous Spartan Racers – the 5km Sprint and the 10km Super.
