If you thought the excitement surrounding Harry Potter Land at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi couldn’t get any bigger, think again. A brand-new promotional video has given fans their biggest glimpse yet of what is brewing on Yas Island, and one very familiar flying car is stealing the show.
Is That the Flying Ford Anglia?
The teaser opens with the enchanted Ford Anglia soaring through the sky before heading towards Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s iconic water tower. If you’ve watched or read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, you’ll know exactly why that is so exciting.
Arthur Weasley’s car famously carries Harry and Ron towards Hogwarts before their journey takes a rather dramatic turn. So, could the Ford Anglia actually become part of an attraction in Abu Dhabi?
Nothing has been officially confirmed, but its starring role in the teaser certainly feels like more than a random cameo. Reports suggest it could hint at a ride inspired by the car’s most memorable adventures.
Three Lands, One Very Magical Destination
The biggest news is that three iconic destinations are coming to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, with the latest reports suggesting plans for Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest.
Exactly how each area will come to life remains under wraps, but with development already underway, the wait is becoming increasingly difficult.

More details on the three sites will be revealed on Monday 7 September, and while an official opening date has yet to be announced, a 2029 opening has been reported.
Either way, the magic is officially moving closer. Now it’s really time to get excited.
