It may still be summer in Abu Dhabi, but Christmas has already found its way onto the calendar. Disney+ Live in Concert is coming to the Etihad Arena this December, serving up four films that generations know by heart, only this time, the soundtrack will not be coming from the screen’s speakers.
Not Your Average Film Night
Over the three days, Frozen, Encanto, The Lion King, and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York will be shown on the enormous arena screen, as the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra plays music live alongside every scene.
It’s an immersive, big-screen visit to Arendelle, Colombia, Pride Rock, and Manhattan, with a full orchestra handling the emotional heavy lifting.

Friday 18 December belongs to the colourful world of Encanto, before Saturday 19 December brings a double helping of Disney magic with Frozen and Home Alone 2.

To wrap up, on Sunday 20 December, The Lion King takes centre stage. It may not be a Christmas film, but this renowned family favourite is not restricted to one season.
