There are plenty of reasons to get excited about the Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi this December, but the racing is only part of the story. Once the engines fall silent, Yas Island comes alive in a completely different way, and the 2026 Yasalam concert line-up is shaping up to be huge.
With legendary voices heading to the capital, there is plenty to look forward to across race week, with one rather intriguing gap in the schedule.
A Huge Week of Music Is on the Way
The music gets underway even before the Grand Prix weekend officially begins. On Wednesday 02 December, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform at Etihad Arena as part of Yasalam Classics, accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
Packed with some of his most recognisable songs, ‘The Prayer’ and his most famous piece of work, ‘Con te partirò ’, will evoke every emotion on the night.
On Thursday, 03 December, Zara Larsson and Lewis Capaldi will hit the stage as the Yasalam After-Race Concerts commence. Larsson has no shortage of pop anthems to choose from, including chart-topping ‘Lush Life’, whilst Capaldi will undoubtedly have thousands singing along to ‘Someone You Loved’.
Friday is a mystery as the performer is still to be announced, meaning one major piece of the puzzle is still missing. Given the names Yasalam has attracted over the years, the eventual announcement is likely to get plenty of people talking.
Saturday 05 December sees Imagine Dragons take over, with Believer and Radioactive set to get people moving on Yas Island.
A Blockbuster Sunday Finale
The weekend comes to a close on the Sunday, with The Chainsmokers and The Script sharing the spotlight. Serious nostalgia will play a part when ‘Closer’ and ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ are being belted out.
Yasalam After-Race Concerts have become a defining part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix experience, having welcomed global stars including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem, Maroon 5, Metallica, Katy Perry, and Post Malone over the years.
And with Friday’s name still under wraps, the biggest surprise of the 2026 line-up is still to come.
