Abu Dhabi has been making its presence felt across the UK, and its latest tourism push was its biggest yet.
Two weeks ago, the emirate wrapped up its largest-ever Experience Abu Dhabi Roadshow, bringing together a major delegation of tourism partners for a journey across three UK cities.
Stops in London, Chester and Glasgow allowed Abu Dhabi to strengthen connections with the UK travel trade while showcasing the ever-growing number of experiences waiting to be discovered in the UAE capital.

Taking the City’s Energy on the Road
Held across three days earlier in the month, the roadshow brought together representatives from key areas of Abu Dhabi’s tourism industry, including hotels, attractions, airlines, and destination management companies.
Travel agents and industry professionals had the chance to meet the people behind some of the emirate’s biggest experiences, learn about the exciting new developments in the pipeline, and get a clearer picture of what visitors can expect from a holiday in the UAE capital.
Adding Glasgow to the itinerary also marked a new step for the initiative, helping Abu Dhabi reach travel professionals in another significant UK market.

More Reasons to Put Abu Dhabi on the Itinerary
This roadshow wasn’t just about what is already waiting for visitors; it also looked ahead to the major projects set to shape Abu Dhabi’s tourism landscape in the coming years, with Disney and the Sphere a certainty to come up in conversation.
By bringing industry partners face-to-face with UK travel professionals, the aim was to build stronger relationships and ensure the industry has the latest knowledge about the destination.
Keeping Abu Dhabi in the conversation
As the emirate continues to add new attractions, hotels and experiences, getting the message directly to the travel trade remains a key part of the strategy from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT).
With the biggest-ever delegation now having concluded, DCT’s education is giving travellers plenty more reasons to look beyond the usual holiday hotspots.
