Calling all witches, wizards and anyone who has ever dreamed of receiving a letter from Hogwarts: Abu Dhabi is about to get a whole lot more magical.
A brand-new Harry Potter-themed land is taking shape at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, promising fans the chance to wander into the Wizarding World without ever leaving the emirate.
Construction on the attraction is well underway, and although there are secrets to be revealed, the latest updates are offering an exciting glimpse of what could be coming.

What Fans Can Expect
The new attraction will become the Middle East’s first Harry Potter-themed land, expanding the theme park with a dedicated area inspired by the beloved wizarding universe.
Visitors will experience locations from the films in a thrilling new way, with rides, attractions, and retail all planned as part of the journey.
There are two magical details also which has sparked conversation among Potterheads. Construction information reported earlier this year indicates that the project could feature both Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley, potentially making it the first Harry Potter land to bring the two locations together in one place.
Opening Date
Staying just as mysterious as Professor Dumbledore, no official opening date has been announced, as Warner Bros. World is currently describing the project as under development.
Recent reporting predicts a possible opening around 2029, but the timings have not been officially confirmed.
Joining the Warner Bros. World Family
The Wizarding World will be part of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, joining the park’s existing worlds dedicated to some of the biggest characters and franchises.
For now, fans will have to be patient. But with construction progressing and the first Harry Potter merchandise already appearing at the park, the magic is beginning to arrive in Abu Dhabi.
