Planning regular trips to the UAE? The five-year multiple-entry tourist visa makes it easier to return for holidays, family visits or other short stays without applying for a new visa each time.
Available to all nationalities, the self-sponsored visa allows visitors to stay for up to 90 days per visit. This can be extended for a further 90 days, although the total time spent in the UAE must not exceed 180 days in one year.
Application Requirements
Applicants need a passport valid for at least six months, a recent colour photograph, valid UAE health insurance and a return or onward travel ticket.
They must also provide bank statements showing a balance of at least USD 4,000, or the equivalent in another currency, during the six months before applying. Additional identity documents may be requested from certain nationalities.

How to Apply
Applications can be submitted online through the ICP or GDRFA websites, as well as through selected Customer Happiness Centres, Amer centres or typing centres.
Online applicants must log in, select the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa service, complete the form, upload the required documents and pay the relevant fees. Processing generally takes up to 48 hours, although additional checks may cause delays.
Fees vary depending on where the application is submitted. The overall cost is approximately AED 3,700, including application charges, service fees and a refundable financial guarantee.
After the Visa Is Issued
The holder must enter the UAE within 60 days of the visa being issued. Travellers should carefully track the length of each stay, as unused days cannot be carried into the following year.
For frequent visitors, the visa offers a more flexible and convenient way to travel to the UAE over five years
