Saadiyat Island is already firmly established as Abu Dhabi’s cultural heart, home to major attractions including Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Beach and Zayed National Museum. With Guggenheim Abu Dhabi also planned for the island, the neighbourhood continues to evolve into one of the capital’s most exciting places to explore.
Now, attention is turning to Saadiyat Grove, the upcoming lifestyle destination expected to open in 2026. The development has recently been attracting increasing interest across social media, with influencers visiting the surrounding area to capture an early glimpse of what is taking shape. The sneak peeks have created a noticeable buzz around what could become one of Abu Dhabi’s biggest new openings.
Developed by Aldar as a central destination within Saadiyat Island’s Cultural District, Saadiyat Grove is designed to be far more than a conventional shopping mall. The neighbourhood will bring together fashion, dining, entertainment, wellness, and art in a single immersive setting.

Visitors will be able to browse a curated selection of global luxury labels, boutique stores, and innovative retail concepts before dining at an international restaurant, a chef-led venue, or a café. Its mix of experiences could make it an easy choice for a full day out, with options ranging from shopping and lunch to wellness sessions and nearby cultural attractions.
Location will also be a major part of its appeal. Saadiyat Grove will sit close to Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Natural History Museum, and the upcoming Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, connecting the island’s cultural landmarks with a more complete social and lifestyle experience.
The wider mixed-use development will feature contemporary residences, boutique hotels, wellness centres, landscaped gardens and workspaces. Rather than simply creating another retail destination, Saadiyat Grove is shaping up to become a neighbourhood where people can live, work, dine and spend their leisure time.
An exact opening date in 2026 has not yet been announced, but the early online attention suggests anticipation is already building.
