There’s something about Saadiyat during Ramadan that naturally slows things down. Maybe it’s the sea breeze or quieter energy of the island, but evenings at The St.Regis Saadiyat Island Resort are idyllic during Ramadan.
This Ramadan, the venue offers a collection of experiences that capture the spirit of the season, from relaxed beachfront evenings to traditional shared gatherings.
A Classic Iftar at Oléa
For those looking for something traditional, Oléa offers a generous Iftar that works perfectly for family gatherings or larger groups. The setting feels relaxed but lively, with indoor and outdoor seating that suits long Ramadan evenings.

The buffet brings together Arabian favourites and international dishes, with live cooking stations adding to the atmosphere. Expect Turkish kebabs, Moroccan specialities, fresh seafood, homemade pasta and aromatic curries, alongside classic Ramadan desserts including charcoal-baked baklava and kunafa.
Soft oud music plays in the background, creating an atmosphere that naturally encourages people to slow down, share plates and stay a little longer.

Iftar at Oléa is priced at AED 295 per person, including Ramadan beverages, with children aged 6 to 12 dining at AED 145. Served daily throughout Ramadan from sunset until 11 pm.
A Moroccan-Inspired Iftar & Suhoor at Dar Chaouen
Dar Chaouen is easily the most atmospheric part of the Ramadan offering. The beachfront pop-up draws inspiration from Morocco, with rich textures, soft lighting and calming blue tones that make it feel both intimate and relaxed.

The menu leans into Moroccan flavours with a subtle fusion of Pacific Rim influences. Guests can start with warm khobz and a selection of mezze, alongside fresh salads like zaalouk, taktouka and chermoula.

From there, the experience moves into comforting soups such as lamb harira or lentil, followed by slow-cooked tagines ranging from tender lamb and aromatic chicken to delicately spiced seafood.
The evening finishes on a softer note with traditional Moroccan sweets and a ceremonial mint tea ritual. For private gatherings, a curated set menu is also available.

Ramadan at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island offers a thoughtful mix of atmosphere and flavour. Whether you’re gathering for a traditional Iftar, settling in for a slower Suhoor, or simply looking for a beautiful setting to spend the evening.
