With Ramadan in Abu Dhabi officially starting today, Wednesday, 18th February, residents and visitors have plenty of things to do in Ramadan over the next four weeks. From Iftar gatherings to spiritual concerts, Abu Dhabi has it all covered, and you won’t want to miss out.
Visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque attracts many of the faithful, and tourists experience the best things to do during Ramadan in Abu Dhabi. It becomes a central hub for daily visitors, with special Iftar tents, taraweeh, and tahajjud prayers taking place.
It’s an incredible, picturesque sight as it rises gracefully against Abu Dhabi’s skyline.

The atmosphere is deeply spiritual, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a place that stays with you.
Visitors are welcome to explore the mosque during Ramadan, but access may be limited around Iftar times as certain areas are reserved for worshippers breaking their fast.

Echoes of Fez at the Louvre Abu Dhabi
