The tournament delivered a breakthrough moment as rising star Sara Bejlek claimed the singles title, after an impressive week that included victories over several higher-ranked opponents. She beat Ekaterina Alexandrova in the final on Saturday evening, who once ranked in the top ten in the WTA rankings. Bejlek took the first set after a closely fought tie-break, which she won 7-6 (7-5). In the second set, the Czech star showed her potential, as she won 6-1 impressively. A great moment for Bejlek and a great inspiration for young female tennis players who look to defy the odds.

The doubles competition wrapped up the event with a competitive final that highlighted the depth of talent on show throughout the tournament. Ekaterina Alexandrova made amends as she won the event with Australian partner Maya Joint. The favourites were their opponents Tereza Mihalíková and Olivia Nicholls, who gave them a great match in the final leg.
