The UAE National MMA Championship officially opens the country’s mixed martial arts calendar as Championship 1 takes place in Al Ain this weekend.
Taking place on January 10 and 11, 2026, the championship will be hosted at the UAE University, officially opening the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation’s new sporting season.

Over two action-packed days, competitors will battle it out across multiple divisions designed to support athletes at every stage of their journey.
Categories include Youth D (10–11 years), Youth C (12–13 years), Youth B (14–15 years), and Youth A (16–17 years), alongside adult divisions for athletes aged 18 and above. This inclusive structure ensures a dynamic mix of emerging prospects and experienced fighters on the mats.
