Etihad Airways just announced seven new destinations from Abu Dhabi, and your summer getaway plans just got more exciting!
The UAE’s national carrier has been on a roll with new routes lately to expand its network and bring more point-to-point traffic directly to the capital.
The new destinations include Almaty, Kazakhstan; Baku, Azerbaijan; Bucharest, Romania; Medina, Saudi Arabia; Tbilisi, Georgia; Tashkent, Uzbekistan; and Yerevan, Armenia.
The new Etihad Airways destinations are all set to go on sale over the next few days. Services will begin in March 2026, with Medina to start operating in November 2025.
These latest additions bring Etihad’s total number of new destinations for 2025 to a whopping 29!
Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s CEO, said, “Our goal is clear, we want to bring more people directly to Abu Dhabi. These new routes connect us to fast-growing, culturally rich regions and will help stimulate demand for tourism and trade in the UAE’s capital.
Etihad has already celebrated inaugural flights to four new destinations this year, namely, Prague, Warsaw, Sochi and Atlanta. And they’re going to be adding another 13 new routes before the year closes!
