Abu Dhabi Just Got Three New Emirati Cafes at One of Its Most Beautiful Cultural Spots

Zayed National Museum has quietly added a new reason for Abu Dhabi residents to visit Saadiyat Island with the opening of three Emirati cafes, featuring Emirati-owned garden concepts within its stunning Al Masar Garden.

Open to the public and free of charge, these new spots blend culture, food, and design in a way that feels very Abu Dhabi right now.

A New Culinary Layer at Saadiyat’s Cultural District

Located between the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, Al Masar Garden acts as an outdoor extension of the museum experience.

Lined with native plants and fruit trees and featuring shaded walkways, the garden tells the story of the UAE through desert oases and urban landscapes inspired by the life of Sheikh Zayed.

The new Emirati cafes sit naturally within this space, encouraging visitors to slow down, wander, and stay a little longer.

RUKN A Cultural Coffee Sanctuary

RUKN brings together influences from North Africa, the Gulf, and the UAE with a strong focus on Arabic cuisine and speciality teas.

Expect thoughtful design, rich flavours, and a calm atmosphere that feels perfect for a cultural catch-up or quiet moment.
