Abu Dhabi is adding a brand-new motorsport event to its calendar this February with the launch of Yas Speed Festival 2026, a community-focused festival celebrating speed, car culture, and shared experiences at Yas Marina Circuit.
Taking place across two editions on 7–8 February and 21 February, the festival blends elite racing with immersive off-track entertainment, positioning itself as a fresh, accessible way for fans and families to experience motorsport.
Designed as a multi-edition festival, Yas Speed Festival brings together world-class championships and social activations, reinforcing Yas Marina Circuit’s role as a hub for motorsport culture in the UAE.
Asian Le Mans Series Headlines Opening Weekend
The inaugural weekend is headlined by the Asian Le Mans Series, one of the world’s leading endurance racing championships. International teams will compete in high-performance prototype and GT cars, bringing serious racing pedigree to Abu Dhabi.
Adding extra star power, Indian racing icon Ajith Kumar will compete both as a driver and team founder with Ajith Kumar Racing, marking a major moment for regional motorsport fans.
Additional on-track action comes from the Gulf ProCar Championship and Gulf Radical Cup, ensuring a packed racing programme throughout the weekend.
Beyond the Track: Cars, Culture, and Family Fun
Off the circuit, the festival expands into a full lifestyle experience with Yas Motor Majlis, a large-scale automotive gathering showcasing over 400 cars, from collectors’ classics to modern performance builds. The event is aligned with the UAE’s Year of the Family, making it a genuinely inclusive day out.
Visitors can expect family-friendly ticket packages, a kids’ play area, fan zones, interactive activations, and a curated line-up of food trucks, alongside general admission access to the main grandstand.
