Yas Bay Waterfront has officially launched the Parkonic smart parking system, introducing a seamless, ticketless experience that makes parking easier while rewarding visitors with complimentary parking when they spend time at the destination.
The digital system uses licence plate recognition, removing the need for paper tickets and allowing visitors to manage parking through the Parkonic app. The best part for regular visitors? Many guests won’t need to pay at all.
Those dining at Yas Bay’s restaurants and cafés can enjoy up to 3 hours of complimentary parking once their visit is validated by the venue. Meanwhile, gym members and beach guests receive up to six hours of free parking, also with validation.
For anyone staying beyond the complimentary period, parking is charged at AED 20 for the first hour, then AED 10 for each additional hour.
The new system is designed to improve parking availability across one of Abu Dhabi’s busiest waterfront destinations while ensuring genuine visitors continue to enjoy generous free parking.
