Liwa Dates Festival
The Liwa Date Festival has returned to Abu Dhabi this week, bringing together Emirati heritage, local flavours, and family-friendly entertainment. Farmers from across the UAE showcase their finest harvests, while visitors can explore an impressive selection of fresh date varieties and watch lively competitions unfold.
A traditional souk also offers handcrafted baskets, local perfumes, and other Emirati products, making it a great place to pick up a souvenir. Food stalls complete the experience with date-inspired treats, from rich date syrup to freshly baked pastries.

Abu Dhabi Culture Summer Camps

Atif Aslam is heading to Abu Dhabi for one of the capital’s biggest live music events this July. Taking over Etihad Arena, the much-loved singer will perform a crowd-pleasing set packed with some of his best-known hits.
Fans can expect an atmospheric night of live music, powerful vocals, and plenty of sing-along moments. Tickets are available through Platinumlist.

Formula Run 2026
Formula Run 2026 is racing back into Abu Dhabi, bringing one of the city’s most energetic indoor sporting events to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Registration closes soon, so runners hoping to take part should secure their place at ferrariworldabudhabi.com.
Designed with the UAE summer in mind, the fully air-conditioned event gives participants the chance to run through one of the world’s most recognisable theme parks. Routes include 10km, 5km, and 2.5km options, making the experience suitable for a range of ages and fitness levels.
Each race begins and finishes inside Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, surrounded by its iconic attractions. The course continues through Yas Mall and the Italian Village before returning to the park. Participants will also receive an exclusive Formula Run T-shirt and a specially designed Ferrari World Abu Dhabi finisher’s medal.
