Families in Abu Dhabi will be able to explore a new approach to shopping together when SHEIN brings its latest interactive experience to Yas Mall from 24 to 26 July 2026.
The three-day activation will introduce My Wishlist, a new feature created to give children a greater voice in choosing the clothes they love while allowing parents to remain in control of the final purchase.
Located near the Ferrari World hallway, the public event will feature interactive activities for parents and children, as well as an opportunity to explore SHEIN’s latest collections and experience the new tool firsthand.
My Wishlist allows children to save their favourite outfits, colours, and styles in the SHEIN app or on the website. Parents can then review their selections and decide which pieces best suit practical considerations such as comfort, quality, age, climate and everyday wear.

The idea reflects a familiar challenge for many families. Children often view clothing as an extension of their imagination, whether that means dressing like a princess, recreating a favourite character or experimenting with a completely new look. Parents, meanwhile, must consider whether those choices are comfortable, suitable and realistic.
Rather than removing either perspective from the process, the feature creates a shared space where children can communicate what they genuinely like, and parents can make more considered decisions.
This approach is particularly relevant for families in Abu Dhabi, where warm weather, cultural considerations and the need for comfortable clothing can influence what works beyond the changing room or screen. Saving items to a wishlist also allows families to revisit choices rather than acting on every spontaneous request.
As children become increasingly involved in family decisions, experiences such as My Wishlist offer a practical way to encourage individuality while maintaining parental guidance.
The SHEIN My Wishlist activation will take place at Yas Mall from Friday, 24 July to Sunday, 26 July 2026. It will be open from 10 am until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 am until 10 pm on Sunday. Entry is open to the public.
