Abu Dhabi’s dining scene has welcomed a colourful new addition, with ROSA’S THAI officially opening its doors at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island.
The London-born restaurant brings bold flavours and a menu rooted in traditional Thai cooking and is set to be one of the capital’s most exciting new casual dining destinations.
Originally founded on East London’s Hanbury Street back in 2008, ROSA’S THAI built its reputation on serving authentic Thai dishes inspired by family recipes and street food culture.
Now, the concept has arrived in the Abu Dhabi, introducing diners to its much-loved mix of comforting classics and modern twists.

Thai classics Designed for Sharing
The venue sets the scene as soon as you walk in, with interiors that strike a balance between quirky American diner aesthetics and the neon-lit energy of Bangkok’s streets.
The menu covers everything from small plates and curries to noodle dishes and refreshing mocktails, making it ideal for both casual lunches and group dinners.
To start, the Thai calamari, popcorn shrimp and prawn crackers make for an easy and flavour-packed introduction to the menu, especially if shared around the table.
For mains, the Pad Thai is one of the standout dishes. Available with both prawns and chicken, it delivers the perfect balance of sweet, savoury and tangy flavours, while still feeling comforting and familiar.
There’s also plenty for younger diners to enjoy, thanks to the dedicated “Little ROSA’S” menu, designed as an approachable introduction to Thai cuisine for children.

Bangkok Energy With a Playful Twist
The drinks menu also deserves attention, with the watermelon spritz and mai thai mocktails both worth ordering, especially alongside the restaurant’s richer dishes.
ROSA’S THAI feels like a natural fit for Al Maryah Island’s growing food scene and is another strong addition to Abu Dhabi’s ever-expanding list of must-visit restaurants.
