Another road closure? This time, it’s happening on Saadiyat Island and will last for a much longer time!
Following news of partial road closures on Reem Island early last month, the Integrated Transport Centre (AD Mobility) has now announced a series of road closures and traffic diversions.
These changes on Saadiyat Isladn are part of ongoing efforts to improve the city’s infrastructure and enhance traffic flow.

The first major road closure began on Saturday, 29th March on Jacques Chirac Street in Saadiyat Island, lasting until Monday, 30 June.
New signalised intersections were activated in Riyadh City, Abu Dhabi, on Sunday, 30 March, to better manage traffic flow in the area.
Maps highlighting the affected lanes have been shared on its website, with red-marked lanes indicating closures and green-marked lanes remaining open.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes, allow additional travel time, and plan their trips accordingly to avoid disruptions.
Drive safe!
