New pricing structure revealed for Salik toll gates in Dubai

Driving in Dubai? Keep an eye out for the latest flexible tariffs to be implemented across all Salik toll gates in the emirate very soon!

Starting January 31, 2025, the toll gates will be operating with a dynamic pricing structure as mentioned in November 2024.

Salik toll gate prices to change from January 31st

While the earlier amount was a standard AED 4 applicable across all gates all day, the prices will now vary according to the flow of traffic.

During weekdays, the toll will be AED 6 during peak hours (6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 8 pm), and AED 4 during off-peak hours (10 am to 4 pm and 8 pm to 1 am).

Toll-free passage will be offered from 1 am to 6 am, while on Sundays, excluding public holidays, special occasions, or major events, the toll will be AED 4.

While these timings are applicable throughout the year, Ramadan will be an exception. During the Holy Month, 9 am to 5 pm will be considered peak hours. Off-peak hours during the holy month will be from 7 am to 9 am, and 5 pm to 2 am.

Meanwhile, 2 am to 7 am will be the timings for toll-free passage during Ramadan.

Currently, there are 10 operational Salik toll gates at some of the most heavily congested roads in Dubai. In November, two new gates were added in the city, the first at Al Khail Road at the Business Bay Crossing, and another one at Al Safa South on Sheikh Zayed Road.
