The American metal band is all set to have UAE head banging after 12 long years on Saturday, December 6.
The news comes following announcements of Benson Boone opening the four nights of shows on Thursday, December 4. Pop star (and now astronaut?) Katy Perry will be closing the Abu Dhabi GP concerts on Sunday, December 7.
As always, access to the crazy Metallica show is exclusive to those who have tickets to the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix appearance marks the third time Metallica has performed in the UAE capital. The band made their regional debut with their 2011 show on Yas Island, returning in 2013 for another sold-out performance.
With hits like Nothing Else Matters, Enter Sandman, and so many more – Metallica is undoubtedly one of the biggest heavy metal bands ever. They’ve sold around 150 million albums since their 1981 debut!
The band’s 11th studio album, 72 Seasons, was released that year to critical acclaim, winning Best Metal Performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Their M72 World Tour is currently in its third year, and continues to set attendance records across North America.
