Missing Public Art installations in the UAE capital? Get ready for another amazing initiative to light up Abu Dhabi with Manar 2.0!
The city’s stunning light art exhibition is making its much-anticipated return this November. The gorgeous exhibiiton made its debut last year thanks to the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) as part of the Public Art Abu Dhabi programme.
Manar translates to ‘lighthouse’ in Arabic, and promises an art show that will leave you dazzled.
Is 2024 is anything to go by, we can expect to spot massive light sculptures, ethereal projections, interactive installations and performances across the waterfront, corniche and more.

Returning to Abu Dhabi with high expectations, Manar 2.0 is levelling up big time with 35 artworks from global artists expected.
The lineup includes the likes of teamLab, Carsten Höller and Shezad Dawood, as well as local talents like Ahmed Al Areef Al Dhaheri and Nujoom Alghanem.
While we’re still awaiting the complete programme reveal, you can expect to see installations across iconic locations like Saadiyat, Jubail and Fahid Island, and many more spots in Abu Dhabi.
