Emirati Women’s Day officially arrives on Friday, but in Abu Dhabi, there’s no reason to limit the celebrations to just one day. This year, the capital is turning the occasion into something closer to a month-long moment, running from 28 August until early September.
With creative workshops, cultural experiences, fitness challenges, and a little well-deserved self-care to experience and enjoy, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the remarkable women who continue to shape life in the UAE.
Create, Sip and Flow at Jubail Mangrove Park
If you fancy combining cake, matcha, and a workout, ‘Create, Sip and Flow’ at Jubail Mangrove Park is bringing all three together on August 28.
The women-focused afternoon starts with a mini cake-decorating session, followed by a refreshing matcha break, before participants roll out their mats for a 50-minute guided sculpt session.
It’s a fun excuse to get together, move your body, and enjoy the mangroves with a few sweet treats thrown in.
