Flying anytime soon? There’s an epic new food festival at Zayed International Airport, and it’s going to have you drooling!
The culinary festival, or Food Fest, will run until Sunday, November 16, and it’s about to turn the terminal inside into a party like no other. Think pop-up food stalls, games, offers and wait for it – even a live DJ.
This isn’t the first Food Festival at Zayed International Airport, with October having seen a month-long activation already.
Featuring culinary experiences and flavours from around the world, the festival definitely enhances the passenger journey and even saw a special week of Diwali celebrations, with themed offers and experiences to mark the occasion.

But wait, there’s more! Passengers travelling through the Abu Dhabi Airport can also make the most of 20 per cent off dining outlets and ten per cent off retail and spa services.
Speaking about the festival, the airport shared in a post on Instagram:
“A celebration of flavours has arrived at Zayed International Airport. Introducing Food Fest, a month-long culinary experience bringing together the best bites, irresistible aromas, and exclusive offers across our terminal.
“Until November 16, travellers can enjoy 20 per cent off dining outlets and 10 per cent off retail and spa services while discovering a vibrant mix of food and live entertainment.
So if the new Etihad routes and upcoming Eid Al Etihad or winter break weren’t enough reasons, you certainly have a reason to party it up inside the gorgeous airport.
Keeping up its reputation as one of the coolest airports in the world, AUH has even won awards this year for its selection of things to do before you board.
In 2025, Abu Dhabi airport managed to bag yet another title, this time taking home the award for ‘Best Airport for Retail’ at the Frontier Awards 2025.
Announced during the TFWA World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes, the capital’s iconic airport is certainly worthy, given the 163 shops and restaurants spread out over a whopping 37,500 square metres. And given this brand new and massive food festival at Zayed International Airport, travelling is only getting more and more exciting.
