Air Arabia Abu Dhabi to launch seasonal flights to this popular Russian destination

Flying to Russia anytime soon? You could cross it off your bucket list faster with Air Arabia Abu Dhabi announcing new seasonal flights to Yekaterinburg.

The service will operate twice weekly from October 27 2025, to March 27 2026. The new route will connect Zayed International Airport and Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo International Airport.

Yekaterinburg is the fourth-largest city in Russia, the largest city in the Ural Federal District, and one of Russia’s main cultural and industrial centres.

If the city hasn’t previously popped up on your radar, there are plenty of cultural and heritage sites to visit around. From Ganina Yama Monastery to Church on the Blood, there’s no dearth of gorgeous architecture here. Of course, the local cuisine and night markets are well worth checking out as well!

The airline has been rapidly expanding for some time now, having just announced increased operations in Pakistan recently and multiple new routes across the world.

That aside, the airline plans to add two more aircraft to its fleet before the end of the year, enhancing its operational capacity and supporting the launch of new routes.
