Originally, The Abu Dhabi Rugby Union Football Club, this rugby community was established in 1970 and has evolved alongside the city, growing into one of the UAE’s most recognised rugby clubs.
A founding member of the Arabian Gulf Rugby Football Union (now the UAE RF), the club’s name was changed to Abu Dhabi Harlequins Rugby Club in 2008 when they became affiliated with the London Harlequins.
Since the club was formed, it has built a strong foundation that blends tradition with a forward-thinking approach. Abu Dhabi Harlequins has gained a reputation as a warm and friendly multicultural club with great team spirit.
