Summer travel is about to get even bigger from Abu Dhabi, with Etihad Airways revealing its most extensive seasonal programme to date, adding extra capacity across its network while introducing new destinations and bringing back some much-loved summer hotspots.
The airline says it will operate more flights than ever before during the busy travel period, giving holidaymakers and business travellers greater flexibility when flying from the UAE capital this summer.
Hundreds Of Daily Flights This Summer
As international travel demand continues to rise, Etihad is scaling up operations across its growing network.
Throughout the peak summer months, the airline will offer more than 300 daily flights, marking a significant increase compared to previous years.
The expansion has been supported by dozens of additional aircraft joining operations, with the increase able to accommodate growing passenger numbers while strengthening links between Abu Dhabi and major destinations around the world.
Four New Destinations Join the Map
In this positive announcement, the airline has also expanded its route network with four new services.
Travellers can now fly directly from Abu Dhabi to Kraków, Palma de Mallorca, Damascus, and Zanzibar, opening up new options across Europe, the Middle East and East Africa.
The exciting additions further diversify Etihad’s offering, catering to culture seekers, beach lovers, and city-break enthusiasts alike.
Returning Favourites and Additional Perks
Alongside the new routes, several seasonal destinations are returning for the summer months.
Mykonos, Malaga, Santorini, Nice, and Al Alamein are all making a comeback, giving UAE travellers direct access to some of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after coastal escapes.
To top it off, eligible international guests arriving on Etihad-operated flights will also benefit from complimentary medical travel insurance, adding another incentive for travellers planning a stopover or longer stay in the capital.
With fresh destinations, returning favourites, and additional perks, Etihad’s biggest summer programme yet is shaping up to be a busy one.
