Orchestrating group rides on Hudayriyat Island and providing fitness sessions at Yas Marina Circuit, the upcoming events on June 3rd will spotlight the emirate’s growing cycling culture and ongoing focus on health and wellbeing.
Hudayriyat Island Hosts World Bicycle Day Celebration
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome to gather at Hudayriyat Island on Wednesday, June 3rd, for a large-scale community cycling event organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Starting in the early evening, this event will encourage residents, families, and fitness enthusiasts to take part in this inclusive day in a relaxed celebration, centred around outdoor activity and healthy living.
The island is a fitting venue for the city’s World Bicycle Day event. Over recent years, Hudayriyat Island has become one of Abu Dhabi’s leading destinations for cycling and endurance sports, thanks to its dedicated bike tracks, waterfront routes and recreational facilities.

TrainYAS Brings Cyclists to the F1 Circuit
Cycling fans looking for a different kind of ride can also take part in a special TrainYAS edition at Yas Marina Circuit. The popular community initiative gives residents the opportunity to cycle, jog or walk around the world-famous Formula 1 track during dedicated fitness evenings.
Held in partnership with Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, the sessions continue to attract large numbers of participants each week, offering a unique way for people to stay active in one of the UAE’s most recognisable sporting venues.
