Are you ready for Asia’s largest music festival to debut in the capital? Gear up for Sunburn festival in the UAE, and yes, we’re as excited as guys are!

The festival is making its Abu Dhabi debut next year, and if you didn’t know, it’s one of the biggest EDM festivals in India. And now, you can expect all the biggest artists and mad vibes at Sunburn as early as December 2026.

The announcement stated Sunburn will come to the UAE capital, in collaboration with Indian ticket seller BookMyShow and UAE event organiser Ethara.

What we know about Sunburn in the UAE so far

Ranked as one of the world’s top 10 EDM festival brands by the prestigious DJ Mag, the Sunburn festival is best known for bringing the best dance acts to India. This year, they’ve got the iconic David Guetta to headline in Mumbai.

Previous years have seen the likes of Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Swedish House Mafia, Marshmello and Alan Walker headline the event, meaning we can expect some top-tier names when it arrives in Abu Dhabi in 2026.

But what makes this edition of Sunburn in Abu Dhabi so historic is that it will be held simultaneously with the original Indian version of the festival, which organisers say is a first in festival history.

The organisers still haven’t let slip much about the lineup, ticket and venue details – but you just know that it’s going to be all kinds of epic and unforgettable.

The capital’s been on a roll lately, with Sunburn being just the latest global music festival to come to Abu Dhabi. We’ve already had Wireless, Ultra, Untold and even Korea’s DREAM Concert announcing shows in recent years.
