The initiative came into effect on 13th February 2025, and eligibility includes Indians with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
This UAE Visa for Indians on arrival will be valid at all of the UAE’s entry points.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security made the announcement, highlighting stronger ties between the UAE and India.
India and the UAE share strong trade relations and a large Indian diaspora. Extending the visa on arrival to India makes travel and trade easier between the two nations. This step helps the UAE further strengthen its position as a global business and innovation hub.
The initiative aims to boost tourism and attract skilled workers and entrepreneurs. It also encourages business opportunities. With this new policy, the UAE Visa for Indians becomes a gateway for both leisure and business trips to the UAE.
To apply for the visa, applicants must ensure their passport is valid for at least six months from the date of entry. They must also pay the required fees according to UAE regulations. This initiative helps the UAE continue to grow as a leading destination for business and tourism.
